For half an hour Leeds were the better side, and one loose pass from their own goalkeeper undid them. James Trafford's ball out from the back was cut out by Justin Kluivert, Evanilson scored, and Bournemouth won 2-0 for a sixth straight win without conceding in all competitions.

Leeds had the ball in the net first. Dominic Calvert-Lewin bundled it in early on, but the video review found it had come off his arm and the goal was ruled out.

The 31st minute turned the afternoon. Trafford tried to play a short pass to Ao Tanaka; Kluivert stepped in, took the ball and squared it for Evanilson, who had an empty net in front of him. It was the Brazilian's fifth goal in six matches.

Bournemouth grew from there, and Leeds never found a reply. Trafford saved a Marcus Tavernier free kick and later a shot from Álvaro Rodríguez, yet at the other end Calvert-Lewin was left with little service, and Anton Stach, on from the bench, could not take the chances that fell to him late on.

The second goal came from two substitutes in the fourth minute of stoppage time. Junior Kroupi put the ball through Ethan Ampadu's legs and found Amine Adli running in behind, and Adli finished past Trafford.

A third league win in a row takes Bournemouth to twelve points, one more than Leeds. Daniel Farke's side have now gone two league games without a goal, and the question they take home is how to get the ball to their striker.
