Mandas keeps Lazio unbeaten in Naples after Pedraza's own goal ends their winning run
Lazio had won on each of their last four league visits to the Maradona, and an own goal by a half-time substitute ended that run. They leave still unbeaten and top, two points clear of Roma, because their goalkeeper would not let Napoli score a second.

Gennaro Gattuso changed his left-back at half-time, and the change cost Lazio their lead. Nuno Tavares came off, Alfonso Pedraza went on, and in the 48th minute Pedraza turned Noa Lang's cross into his own net. Napoli and Lazio drew 1-1, and a side that had won six league matches in a row left Naples with a point.

The lead had come from a counter. In the 28th minute Tijjani Noslin led the break and slipped Davide Frattesi in, and Frattesi, arriving late in the area, shot low with his left foot into the bottom corner. Five minutes later Josip Sutalo went off injured for Diogo Leite, so by the time the second half began Lazio had changed half of the back four that started.
From the equaliser on, the second goal was Napoli's to find, and they came close to it more than once. Christos Mandas was the reason it never came, and the goalkeeper was the player of the match.
The draw ends three runs Lazio brought to Naples: six league wins in a row, five wins from five away from home, and four straight league wins at the Maradona, which no side had managed before. What survives is the record that matters most to them. They are unbeaten after 11 matches and top on 29 points, two ahead of Roma.
Napoli end a week that began with a 4-1 defeat in Porto and a retreat at Pozzuoli with a point from a goal none of their players scored. Massimiliano Allegri's side have now scored once themselves in their last five home league matches against Lazio, and they go into the international break 14 points behind them rather than the 17 a defeat would have left.
