Carrick's United, without a win in seven, face the Bournemouth side they have not beaten in six
Manchester United have one league win this season and lost 4-1 at Como in midweek. Bournemouth have won three in a row, Milan among the beaten, and United's last win against them was in May 2023.

Manchester United have won once in the Premier League this season and not at all in seven games in all competitions since beating Sabah 4-0 on 10 September. The 4-1 defeat at Como on Tuesday was among the worst in the club's European history, and the week since has been loud: Bruno Fernandes questioned the tactics, after Lisandro Martínez had criticised the director of football, Jason Wilcox, the week before.
Manchester United have the slightly better chance with both sides scoring and three goals or more in all.
Michael Carrick will be in charge on Sunday, and Fernandes stays captain. Leny Yoro is available after serving a European ban and Ayden Heaven is back after illness, but Benjamin Šeško, Kobbie Mainoo, Luke Shaw, Patrick Dorgu and Manuel Ugarte are out, and Martínez and Marcus Rashford are doubts.
Bournemouth arrive on a run of three wins, the last a 3-0 win over Milan in only their third European match, opened by Justin Kluivert 31 years after his father Patrick scored the winner for Ajax against Milan in a Champions League final. It is Marco Rose's first match at Old Trafford as a manager, and Eli Junior Kroupi, their top scorer last season, is back after foot surgery.
The recent meetings have all gone Bournemouth's way or ended level. United have not beaten them in six, and the last three at Old Trafford brought two 3-0 defeats and a 4-4 draw.
