Chelsea 0 – 2 Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur beat Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League, with a late own goal from debutant goalkeeper Mike Penders and a Mathys Tel strike settling the match after Cole Palmer was sent off.
A poor first half ended 0-0, and Penders was the main reason the score stayed level, making several strong saves on his debut. The breakthrough came from his own hands on 77 minutes, although some reports give 78, when he punched a Tottenham corner into his own net. YSScores reported that goal-line technology confirmed the goal.
Chelsea's hopes of a reply faded on 80 minutes when Palmer received a second yellow card. YSScores said his first booking came on 71 minutes after a row with a Tottenham player. His dismissal left Chelsea with ten men and took away much of their attacking threat. On 87 minutes Tel finished a solo run with a low shot into the bottom-left corner to make it 2-0.
Tottenham's second successive Premier League win lifts them to 12th with 9 points. It was their first win at Stamford Bridge since April 2018, and ESPN said it was only their second victory there in 37 years.
For Chelsea, it was a first home defeat under Xabi Alonso. They remain fourth on 13 points but could drop after Sunday's games.

Chelsea are fourth with thirteen points from seven and scored seven in their last two league matches, at Everton and against Bournemouth. Tottenham are sixteenth with six points from one win, three draws and three defeats, and have scored six in their last five.
Bentancur serves the second match of a three-match ban, and Simons, Odobert, Mudryk, Savio and Bergvall are injured, which thins both the midfield and the wide positions. Chelsea are without Emiliano Martínez in goal and without Reece James, which is why we stop short of a confident home win. Chelsea's last five league matches averaged more than three goals and Tottenham's just over two, so we lean, without much conviction, towards three goals or more.
