Bournemouth’s five straight clean sheets put Leeds to the test
Bournemouth have won five consecutive matches in all competitions, scoring 14 goals without conceding, and arrive after Wednesday’s 3–0 cup win over Aston Villa. Leeds sit seventh with only six league goals conceded in eight games, but two successive draws have left them looking for a more decisive attacking display.

Bournemouth’s run has become difficult to ignore: five wins, five clean sheets and 14 goals scored since their defeat at Chelsea earlier this month. Wednesday’s 3–0 win over Aston Villa extended that sequence, although Marco Rose rotated heavily for the cup tie. Saturday will be the Cherries’ sixth match since 15 October, making recovery time a factor even with several regulars rested in midweek.
Bournemouth can make it six wins running in a game with at least three goals, and their five straight clean sheets suggest Leeds may be kept out again.
Alex Scott, Alex Tóth and Julián Araujo remain unavailable for Bournemouth, while Veljko Milosavljević is a doubt. Junior Kroupi returned from a foot injury and featured against Manchester United. Leeds have doubts over Joe Rodon and Daniel James, while Nico Elvedi missed the Sunderland match through illness and was expected to return; none of those three had a confirmed final status at the research cutoff.
Bournemouth are 13th with nine points from eight matches, having scored 12 goals and conceded 13. Leeds are seventh on 11 points, with nine goals scored and six conceded. The Cherries’ league form has been less consistent than their overall run suggests, but consecutive clean-sheet wins over Sunderland and Manchester United have changed the mood. Leeds have drawn their last two league games, 1–1 with Manchester United and 0–0 at Sunderland.
The last two Premier League meetings have both finished 2–2. Sean Longstaff rescued a point for Leeds with a stoppage-time equaliser at Bournemouth in April 2026, while Junior Kroupi scored late to earn Bournemouth a draw at Elland Road in September 2025. Neither side has managed to separate itself in those recent encounters.
