"AC Milan are planning a €50m move for Leny Yoro"

An established Italian outlet has reported the interest twice this month under named reporters. The move it describes has slipped from January to the summer, and nobody involved has spoken.

Where it started

Calciomercato, 4 October, Federico Targetti: Milan are back in for Leny Yoro, with the help of Jorge Mendes, who represents the player and may push for a move. Rúben Amorim, now Milan's coach, worked with him at Old Trafford. The piece puts his valuation at about €50m and expects Milan to try again in January. It reports no approach, bid or negotiation with Manchester United.

What happened next

FootballTransfers and The Hard Tackle carried it on 5 October. Calciomercato returned to it on 24 October under Daniele Longo: Yoro is a profile Milan like for next season, a deal would need between €40m and €50m, and Milan hope Mendes can help set it up in the summer. The same piece names Gonçalo Inácio and Kim Min-jae as the January options. On 25 October Football Today headlined it as Milan plotting a €50m summer move, adding that there is no indication United are willing to sell.

What was checked

Manchester United announced Yoro's signing from Lille on 18 July 2024, on a contract to June 2029 with the option of a further year; Calciomercato puts the fee at €62m. Calciomercato noted on 4 October that he had not started a league match this season. Nothing from Milan, United, the player or Mendes addresses the report.

Verdict

Unconfirmed. The interest has been reported twice by a known Italian outlet under named reporters, and nothing on the record contradicts it. Nothing on the record supports it either: no contact between the clubs is reported, and the outlet's own timetable has moved from January to the summer. Claim dated 4 October 2026; verdict dated 25 October 2026.
